Participant guidelines:
Minimum age for this certificate is 8-10 years.
Numbers on day:
This certificate is for one person only. Balloons take a minimum of two passengers and a maximum of 12-20.
What to bring/Dress code:
Please wear warm casual clothing, and sturdy walking-type shoes.
Availability:
Flights operate once daily from April to November. The hot and windy summer in Western Australian weather is unsuitable for ballooning during the other months.
Weather:
Flights can be postponed and rescheduled subject to inclement weather.Windward may cancel the flight the day before or on site if weather is unsuitable.
Spectators:
We discourage spectators as we launch in private property and have an understanding with landowners that only Windward crew and passengers will enter their paddocks.
