Get involved and help sail a real Aussie tall ship. After a delicious morning tea, visit a private mooring and enjoy snorkelling on fringing coral reefs and walk ashore on the Whitsundays only sand cay. Snorkel access is from the beach making it safe and easy for all ages. Look out for turtles, sea eagles and the numerous reef fish who call this area home.
DETAILS
After a visiting a second snorkelling location return to the vessel for a hearty smorgasbord lunch, before helping to raise the sails and head back to shore across the Whitsunday Passage, with a cold beer or wine in hand from our licensed bar. The Derwent Hunter assists with marine research and guests have the option to get involved and help crew collect data for the GBRMPA Eye on the Reef program helping to maintain our pristine Great Barrier Reef.
