Established the first Barossa based, private wine tours back in 1994 experience the same classic 1962 Daimlers and the same passionate wine guide, giving guests unique and exceptional lifetime memories. The Barossa Valley is famous for its Shiraz, Grenache and Mataro varieties, although most varieties grow well, including Eden Valley Riesling. Guests can choose to visit the smaller intimate boutique cellar doors, world famous icons or the up and coming new producers.

With over 85 cellar doors available, and with wine being such a personal experience, a personally tailored tour is the only way to go! Guests can choose the wineries to visit or leave it to John's local expertise. He includes a great mix of history, architecture, culture, and humour to make for a great day. Cheese & produce tastings, visits to galleries, keg factories & town walks, may also be included.
Availability:
7 Days (weekend included) however please note that a tour taken Monday to Friday (not public holidays) includes a taste of Penfolds Grange at the Penfolds Cellar Door in The Barossa.
Adelaide pickups
Extra $300.00 per car, for return transfer (tour day only). This can be organised privately with Barossa Daimler Tours. Adelaide p/up at 9am and return at 5.30pm. These pickups and returns are in a modern vehicle and on arrival in The Barossa, meet with John and the classic 1962 Daimler for the tour.
