This experience provides a sample of everything Tasmania has to offer – exceptional scenery, award winning wine and precious wildlife.
The experience commences by travelling to the summit of Mt Wellington 1271 metres (just over 4000 feet) above the city of Hobart. Mt Wellington is officially known as Kunanyi. On arrival at the summit you will have the opportunity to capture some spectacular panoramic views over southern Tasmania.
Next stop is Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary a sanctuary for Tasmanian wildlife. Your chance to come closer than ever to something wild and fragile. As soon as you walk through the old wooden gate you’ll realise you’ve come to a place where animals are deeply cared for and you become part of an inspiring conservation story. At Bonorong you’ll have the opportunity to meet the Tasmanian Devil and stroll the sanctuary feeding Kangaroos.
Final stop a cellar door in the Coal Valley region for a short wine tasting accompanied by a selection of local cheeses. The actual cellar door we visit may change due to availability. The cellar doors selection will be Puddleduck Vineyard, Pooley Wines or Everyman & His Dog Vineyard.
