DETAILS Situated within Glenworth Valley and owning 3000 acres of unspoilt wilderness with access to lush valleys, impressive rock formations and open pastures, this is the ideal location to explore some of Australia's bushland and have an exciting adventure at the same time. Both adventures are careful to keep you comfortable and within these zones. You will never be expected or pushed to do what you don't wish to. The certificate includes:
Horse Riding – 2 hour horse ride With guided horse rides, instruction on control and management of your horse is given before leaving the yard. A professional and friendly guide accompanies you on your ride. You are shown the features of the area while riding and once you feel proficient and confident with your horse you may be able to leave the group and explore the valley by yourself.
Kayaking – 2-3 hour Kayak tour Kayaking at Glenworth Valley offers paddlers the opportunity to explore the unspoilt wilderness of Popran Creek as it meanders its way through the Valley. As you glide down Popran Creek you can choose to either explore the peaceful upper reaches of Mangrove Creek or head down stream onto the magnificent Hawkesbury River system.
What to bring/Dress code: Horse Riding Recommend loose fitting pants. Footwear should ideally be boots or shoes with a flat sole and small heal. Flat soled sandshoes are O.K. Depending on the weather it is suggested clients bring sunscreen, insect repellent & a brimmed hat.
Availability:Tour operates 7 days a week. Please book at least 2 days in advance of your preferred date. There is a minimum age on kayak tours of 12 and trail rides of 7. If you would like your children to join you on one of The Paddle and Saddle tours, please mention when booking.
Weather:In the case of bad weather conditions or flooding the tour may be moved to another date.
